The Learning Innovation Design Lab will be sharing our World Design Capital project at the Design Indaba this weekend. If you’re in Cape Town, come and say hi!
We’ll be debuting PLOXXI, our low-cost cardboard computer. We’re inviting you to try out our Paper Jets Spelling game. For a small donation of R30, players will receive a blank mask to customise. Once players have their “game face on”, we’ll wire them up to their jet-shaped controller and let the fun begin!
PLOXXI and our prototype remote are examples of how technology can be re-imagined to create fun, memorable learning experiences.
All proceeds collect at Design Indaba will go towards building 20 PLOXXI computers for Masiphumelele Primary school’s Play to Learn Lab.
